In Asia, fishing it is a huge business which feeds millions of people around the world. However, right now the Indonesian authorities are authorizing certain activities that are harming the shark population. In fact, what it is happening it is that shark and other endangered sea species are falling on the nets of the tuna fishers but when they are caught, even if they still alive, nobody turns back to the sea. In fact, Indonesian fishermen kill this big fishes too because they know they can get a huge price in the black market with the fins or other parts of the animal. Just as a remember, China it is one of the biggest consumers of shark fin which they use it to make its famous soup.

Actually, nobody it is taking any measure to protect this endangered species. For this reason, it has been created this petition addressed to the Indonesia Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries to see if this changes.
