Long-eared bats are in danger. More than 5.5 million have died across USA and Canada for the fungal disease which causes the “white nose” syndrome. Definitely, this species it is really disappearing by the effects of timber industry.

However, top republican lawmakers, like Senate Republican Ron Johnson and House Republicans Sean Duffy,  are taking action to convince federal authorities not to add northern long-eared bats to the endangered species list. This petition has been created to protect bats of extinction and not the timber industry. Please, sign it here if you think that bats are important for any ecosystem.
