In time to time, it is good to introduce a new NGO, or maybe not so new. Just for remember the audience about other environmental works in which so many people is working on the world and which seem they are unknown or forgotten.
Oceana is working since 2001 for to help and protect our oceans and the species which live there. Stablished by The Pew Charitable Trusts, Oak Foundation, Marisla Foundation (formerly Homeland Foundation), and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund. Those organisations noticed there was a gap. It was truth a lot of different foundations were working in several oceans and sea wildlife causes. However, there was not any which dedicated fully to protect and restore the oceans on a global scale. With those premises, Oceana was created. Since then, they have protected so many species and millions of square meters on the global sea. You can join on to know more about it here. Do not miss the opportunity to explore and to discover how you can help them.
