There is a common issue with oil. It keeps being one of the major resources of energy which is being used for so many resources: heat warming, current energy, cars fuel… However, at the same time, it is one of the methods which more ecological disasters cause on the environment. Even knowing that and having in mind so many researches and studies. There is a part of the population which keeps encouraging the use of this methods of petrol, being on the distribution of this energetic resource the worst attacks against traditions and wild lands.

Without doubts, there is not other one of those pipelines which is causing more media attention than the Dakota Pipeline to it’s pass for Standing Rock. On there, a community of native American,  mostly from Siux ascendance, have assented themselves to protest against this oil distribution which certainly will contaminate the water of the area. With that, it would damage the ecosystem too.

Those people has named themselves “The Water Protectors” and they are creating several movements to conscience people about the dangers this pipeline would cause.
