Astronomer, baker, writer, shoemaker, toy maker, physicist, mathematician, psychologist, dancer, artists, politician, computer inventor… There are so many professions, so many as people have interests. What not so many remember is some of the most worldwide known figures in those fields where refugees. Some well known were refugees from World War II but which is the difference in between those times and ours when we have more than 65 million of people having a massive exodus from their homes? Having in mind half of that number are children; that it keeps being more than 24 people forced to move out of their places each minute and more than 10.000 have died drowning in the Mediterranean Sea, who cannot assure that in between those people there is not a new Albert Einstein? Or Isaac Asimov? Or Henry Orenstein? Or Sigmund Freud?

It is hard to foretell which are the fates of each one of those people in risk. However, what it is true, is without help and support they could not make great things. Encouraged by this motto, it has been launched the new advertising campaign of UNHCR or ACNUR. They pretend to remember people why a refugee is not different than any other person but, also, the humble past of some of the most remarkable people which history had. Having in mind that, it is up to you to sign this petition for to support them and for to reclaim to the Governments worldwide a bigger support. Anyhow, if you want to share the campaign feel free to do it and thank you in advance for your support.
